What is the Opticon 1?

Essentially a replacement of the previous Dali Ikon Range, the stunning Opticon range offers incredible value for money whilst showcasing significant upgrades from the Zensor model.

Clear and Compact

It is a compact speaker built off the success of the higher end Rubicon and Epison series. Designed to be placed close to the wall or mounted, it has a rear-mounted bass port, a 4" low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer, a 26mm ultra-light Soft Dome Tweeter and gold-plated terminals for the perfect balance of clear, detailed midrange and an impressive tight bass far beyond its size.

Distinctly Dali

All components of the Dali drivers are produced, designed and created in-house in Dali. The driver mounting and final tests are also handled directly by their own assembly lines in the Danish factory.

Retaining the manufacturing process of the Opticon series, Dali takes full advantage of their large and efficient woodworking facility in Denmark to handle every part of the build, starting with the Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) cut out for the cabinet through to applying the vinyl.

Quality Audio Production

The Opticon features the Epicon's signature low loss wood fibre woofers makes it distinctly Dali. Opticon 1 incorporates exclusive Soft Magnetic Compound magnet motor system and a brand new Soft Dome Tweeter.

All this works together along with a separate bass reflex port for the woofer to yield precise audio that is accurate to the original recording vision. The SMC-based magnet motor system is also featured in the higher end speakers works along with the woofer to deliver quality sound reproduction that is harmonious and dynamic.
